This year’s Aircraft Interiors EXPO (AIX) trade fair is the 20th edition of the global must attend event that connects aviation interior suppliers with the world’s airlines. Taking place from April 2nd to April 4th, 2019 on the fairground in Hamburg, the international trade fair has developed into a global must attend event to experience the latest ideas and innovations for aircraft interiors.
Automation is a key factor for the success of aircraft interiors. Intelligent solutions create more comfort for passengers and simplify the procedures for on-board crews. Drives from FAULHABER play a key role, for example in the precision-adjustment of seating positions at the press of a button, the opening of window shades, and also in regard to safety-relevant applications, such as fixing the cabin doors, emergency exits or the pilot’s seat in a specific position during takeoff and landing.
The new possibilities of FAULHABER drive will be demonstrated at the 2019 Aircraft Interiors EXPO in Hall 1, Booth E57. The main focus during the three-day trade fair will be on our DC-micromotors as well as pre-finished mechatronic units consisting of motor, gearhead, brake and encoder.
