Cabin 4.0 is to the aerospace industry what Industry 4.0 is to production. What can you expect from the fourth revolution in passenger comfort? This core question will be answered at the international trade fair Aircraft Interiors EXPO from 10-12 April, 2018 on the fairground in Hamburg.
Intelligent automation creates more comfort for passengers and simplifies the procedures for on-board crews. Drive systems from FAULHABER play a key role, i.e. to precision-adjust the seating positions at the press of a button, to open window shades, and also in regard to safety-relevant applications, such as fixing the cabin doors, emergency exits or the pilot’s seat in a specific position during takeoff and landing.
The new possibilities of FAULHABER Drive Systems in the context of Cabin 4.0 will be demonstrated at Aircraft Interiors EXPO in Hall B1, Booth C20. The main focus during the three-day trade fair will be on our brushed and brushless DC motors as well as pre-finished mechatronic units consisting of motor, gearhead, brake and encoder.
