FAULHABER Webinars – Driven by knowledge
No matter whether you want to learn something new from your home office, on the go or from your actual office: our webinars offer you an opportunity to learn more about our products and solutions from anywhere. Our drive experts will be presenting interesting tools and application know-how as well as answer any questions you may have at the end of each session. For example, you can find out more about our FAULHABER Drive Selection Tool, or get more familiar with our Motion Manager software. We will show you how to optimally use these and other tools. We also dedicate a portion of the webinars to technical questions, such as the development of noise in motors, or other unique application requirements. We are looking forward to a lively discussion with you!

Dr. Ing. Andreas Wagener
Dr. Andreas Wagener obtained an engineering degree with specialization in electric drives from Erlangen University and earned his PhD (Dr.-Ing.) from Ulm University, working on hybrid drive-trains. After a few years at dSPACE, being responsible for automotive system integration HIL test-systems, he joined the FAULHABER’s R&D team in 2007. Dr. Wagener is your expert for MotionControl applications. In his position as group leader of the MotionControl application support firmware architecture, he was responsible for the development of the FAULHABER MC V3.0 generation.
“I am able to answer all the technical questions around a FAULHABER MotionControl or SpeedControl system. Due to many years of experience I am also “speaking” CANopen on C1 level.”

Webinar "Noise Emission with small Drive Systems"
In this webinar, our expert will tell you everything there is to know about vibrations and noise in a drive system, what causes it and how these issues can be addressed. Starting with the basics of vibrations, their mode and resonance path, the webinar will deal with the subjective perception of noises and vibrations. Together, we also discover the main sources of vibration in a drive system, talk about the right tools for measurements and learn how to find the cause of noise based on data acquired by these measurements. And as we promised you everything to know, the webinar won’t end without telling you the best methods to reduce noise.
CONTENTS:
- Basics of vibrations
- Vibration and noise propagation transmission path and resonance
- Subjective perception
- Electromagnetically induced vibrations
- Mechanically induced vibrations
- Mechanical oscillations
- Measures of noise and vibration
- Methods for noise and vibration analysis
- Noise reduction and optimization for drive system installation
