FAULHABER drive electronics can also be modified. Dedicated parameters or special programs can be provided according to customer specifications. This saves you time!
Modifications can even be made to the drive electronics developed by FAULHABER in the form of special features or customer-specific motherboards.
FAULHABER offers numerous possibilities for modifying the mechanical and electrical interfaces. The shape of the shaft can be modified and a second shaft end is available. Various adaptations such as flats, gears, pulleys and eccentrics as well as modifications to the front flange ensure further flexibility . Adaptations to the electrical interfaces include cable lengths and versions (single-strand, ribbon cable, PTFE insulation) as well as connector options.
Within the scope of the EOL testing (end of line), FAULHABER can perform special tests on the product. For example a special dimensional check, on axial play, electrical values or other parameters. The execution and results of the tests are documented and recorded. The documentation may include a certificate of conformity (CoC), a certificate of compliance with the order, a test report as well as an inspection certificate, depending on your requirements.
Aero fertilizer spreaders allow fertilizer to be precisely applied at the exact locations and in the dose it is needed. Thirty spreading sections can be actuated individually and feature cam wheels that divide the fertilizer granulate into small portions. Each of these cam wheel segments is moved by a brushless flat motor of the FAULHABER BXT family with a special modified gearhead. This extremely compact drive, contained in robust steel and aluminum housings, can withstand the difficult conditions encountered in agriculture, such as mechanical vibrations and extreme weather.
Pick & Place: Removing objects and setting them back down at the correct location is a standard task encountered in many handling and assembly processes. The small parts gripper from SCHUNK can perform these tasks without the use of compressed air and achieves an even greater closing force than its pneumatic counterpart. In this application, SCHUNK relies on a high-performance DC-motor from the FAULHABER BX4 series and control electronics that were tailored exactly to the requirements: The shape of the PCB and the arrangement of the components were optimized to allow them to fit inside the gripper. Moreover, the controller was provided with a customer-specific connection and an EMC suppressor circuit to protect against electromagnetic disturbances.
We specialize in adapting our standard product range to the requirements of customer-specific applications. Thanks to the reliability and versatility of our solutions, they are used in robotics, medical technology, in modern laboratory analytics, in logistics or in the aerospace sector.
Tell us about the specific requirements of your application and together we will develop a modified drive solution based on the modular technology system of our product range.
