Gears up! Optimize torque, speed and efficiency for your next project

English

Gearheads are typically used in applications requiring low speed and high torque. However, demanding applications require high speed, high torque and a long, reliable lifetime in the smallest possible form factor.

In this webinar, you will learn which gearhead technology can meet these requirements without defying the laws of physics. You will discover the terminology and components of the GPT planetary gearhead family, and learn how combinations, reduction ratios and options can enhance your next challenging project.

Last but not least, you will also become an expert in selecting a drive system using the FAULHABER Drive Calculator.

Topics:

  • GPT series family and characteristics
  • Gearhead Power: Continuous, intermittent, impulsive
  • High-speed, -torque, -power versions
  • High efficiency possibilities
  • How reduction ratios match the working point
  • Low noise options
  • Modifications and Customized Solutions
  • Case studies and FAULHABER Drive Calculation
  • Linear actuators based on GPT series
